Gyraf SSL MIxbus Compressor Clone

This is Gyraf Audios design for a clone of the mixbus compressor from a SSL4000 mixing desk. I chose this as my first DIY Audio project because it’s rather easy to do and the parts are mostly inexpensive, as it doesn’t use any tubes or transformers.

SM Pro Audio PR8E Mod

The SM Pro Audio PR8E is by far the cheapest multi-micpre box on the market. I got mine from eBay for 80 Euro, usual retail price is about 150 Euro. With some modifications, this box is said to become a great piece of gear for the money.
